Which Video Game Protagonist are You?

Hi everybody. I’d like to announce tmso as our Other Half of the Idiom contest winner! Here’s tmso’s winning idiom.

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush except when that bird pecks out your eye, then you only end up with one; one eye that is.

Thanks for the laugh tmso. Your reward consists of these two priceless works of art that I’ve applied to your idiom plus the undying adoration of the sixteen people who read this blog… you’re welcome.

*Now back to our regularly scheduled program*

Have you ever asked yourself, “Gee, I wonder what character I’d be if I were in a video game?” Well, you’re in luck because I made a thingy that tells you just that so read ahead and BE AMAZED!!!

*that’s supposed to be the ocarina of time in the top right, but MS Paint only allows me to do so much.

THE END

P.S. Don’t feel bad if you got Link.

P.P.S. On second thought, you probably should. That poor guy has been through a lot of crap for one girl over the years.

  1. OMG, how long did it take you do that?? That’s incredible! Kudos!!
I like to think I’m a Space Invader. Usually falling out of no where and landing on someone.

    • It took days. Glad you like it. Space Invader, eh? I wanted to put Pac Man on there because I am from the eighties, full of quarters and often lost in a maze of sorts.

  2. Ha! I won only because you wanted to draw a bird with a bloody eyeball. Ouch! My eye! πŸ˜€

Um, what if I end up in an endless loop? 😦 I want to be Dante.

  4. Great idiom and illustrations. Wish my brain was wired to think like that but it’s rather accepting of those funny old phrases. πŸ™‚

Incidentally, I wanted Link. Cut the guy some slack! Besides *technically* it’s not the same elf chasing the same princess all the time. Reincarnation for the win.

Still, demon powers and emo clout are not be sniffed at.

Enjoyed the post and enjoying the blog. πŸ™‚
